Share your creativity with the Wisdom community by answering our Spring Call for Blog Submissions! By submitting your work, you will engage the forum of the Wisdom Blog as well as that of the greater Buddhist community. Who knows what brilliance you’ll awaken...

We often hear from our readers about the ways Wisdom books have affected their lives. Now, we want to open it up—we want to hear your reflections and stories; we want to encourage your voice. Three times a year, Wisdom issues a call for submissions inviting you to become part of the conversation. Each call for writings specifies formal requirements in addition to a topic hand-chosen by our team of enthusiastic editors. After the submission deadline, Wisdom editors will select the most outstanding pieces to be shared with the world on the Wisdom Blog. What’s your story?

Spring call for submissions: answer with a reflection on a passage from the Pali Canon.

Many Buddhist texts serve to guide and inspire us and to continue the legacy of the Buddha’s compassionate words and powerful practices. Wisdom’s Teachings of the Buddha series—lucid translations of the Pāli Nikāyas, largely produced by eminent teacher and translator Bhikkhu Bodhi—has held a special place in our readers’ hearts since we began publishing them in 1999. We are proud to freely offer more than a third of their content, hand picked by Bhikkhu Bodhi, at, where they can be accessed anywhere in the world at any time. Which of the suttas inspires you? Where do you see, hear, and feel the Buddha’s words come to life? We invite you to revisit, reread, and reflect on that which has touched you, and let us share your experience with the world!

Selected entrants will receive a free ebook edition of the Nikāya of their choosing.
